OM Partners - Family Day

Partners in fun: Dazzle Events and OM Partners’ family day. Reconciling work and family life? During the family day of software company OM Partners, this went effortlessly! On Sunday 4 October, the company site was the playground of Dazzle Events… We provided 330 guests and 140 children with an unforgettable day.

A playful anniversary

“OM Partners is celebrating its 30th anniversary. In this festive year, the company has expanded significantly. We wanted to celebrate the anniversary with the families of our employees. This way, everyone could also take a look at our new buildings,” says Katleen Rybczynski.

Katleen handles corporate communications at OM Partners. She explains how the company came to Dazzle Events: “In house, we have an event team. Normally we do everything ourselves. But as this is a special year for us, we decided to bring in a third party. Google brought us to Dazzle Events, the good follow-up and original approach made us go with them.”

A bull’s-eye

That was an instant hit. With some help from the autumn sun, the day went brilliantly. The guests indulged in games, music and sports. Thanks to the beautiful weather, the outdoor games and animations were particularly popular, but the retro arcade games (such as PacMan and Pinball) were also real crowd-pullers.

A human robot (to stay in the IT spirit) welcomed the guests. A flesh-and-blood jukebox charmed the audience with its warm singing voice. A cover band also provided ‘ambiance’. A magician amazed with his skills and the caricaturist worked overtime. The playful tennis act made even the most introverted employees laugh.

Catering for children

Katleen is full of praise for the children’s entertainment. “Everything was very nicely worked out. The supervision for the children was fantastic. You should have seen their little faces after they came from the grime”. Including a mini children’s gym, football bubbles, a bouncy castle, a velodrome, a 3D racing simulator, Wii consoles and folk games, there was something for everyone.

But all that playing made even the little ones get hungry… Young and old alike feasted on delicious snacks and desserts. For the organisers at OM Partners and Dazzle Events, the biggest satisfaction was the many happy faces.
