As a subsidiary of a multinational company, Berry Alloc naturally has an in-house marketing department. When the colleague in charge of organising their events went on maternity leave, the company was looking for someone to replace her for a period of time. Unfortunately, the freelancer they hired for this purpose did not live up to expectations and deadline after deadline was not met.
Structural partnership for events, communication and marketing
The time to raise the alarm! We informed the client about the possibility of entering into a structural partnership with us – that means we don’t just stage one-off events, but are a one-stop shop for our structural clients:
- We take on the organisation of large and smaller events.
- We provide logistics support, courtesy of our spacious warehouse where marketing gear and sets can be stored.
- With our sister company Atelier TYK, we create decors for your events ourselves.
- We also offer further marketing and communication support.
Firefighting and crisis management
Berry Alloc’s situation was acute, and in that sense the client represented an outlier compared to our other structural partners. We sent out our colleague Lieselot – by now deadlines had piled up and Lieselot had quite a job putting out one fire after another. For several months she took on the role of full-time crisis manager, so that the planned events could still go ahead. The open-day was a success, and the planned mini-roadshow (with a showroom built into a truck) could still go ahead. And Berry Alloc? They could breathe a sigh of relief.
