City of Deinze - Opening celebration Leiespiegel

Once again Dazzle Events proved to be a dab hand at everything with the official opening of the new services centre Leiespiegel in the city of Deinze. Together with Deinze, Dazzle Events launched a creative concept with loads of activities, such as rafting on the Leie river, a foodtruck festival, performances and some cracking fireworks.

Thanks to their solid and in-depth experience with among others organising family days, nightlife events, logistics and security challenges and the like, Dazzle Events was best positioned to attract as many visitors of as many ages to the event. Since most of the activities took place on public roads and on the Leie river, safety was priority number 1. That is why it was decided to start the build at 4 o’clock in the morning, as to not to disturb the public space too much.

Dazzle Events acted as the central point of call for the city council as well as for Flemish governing body ‘Waterwegen en Zeekanalen’ and the security firms. As summarised by mayor Jan Vermeulen: “Dazzle Events really performed as a top notch partner: professional, correct and to the point. The opening ceremony of Leiespiegel completely surpassed our expectations. The impressive metamorphosis of the city was the perfect decor for the best party in years!”
