Engie opening Olen + Lincent wind farms

CELEBRATION EVENT - OPENING

Happy customers are worth their weight in gold. After the inauguration of the wind turbine park in Olen, ENGIE again enlisted Dazzle Events for the festive opening of the Lincent wind farm.

Lincent is located in a field without any amenities. However, Dazzle Events succeeded in turning this bare middle of nowhere into an atmospheric venue. Two trees were placed inside the tent to bring nature in. Catering and decor were outsourced to local suppliers.

About 300 VIPs, ministers and visitors were driven from the nearby towns to the wind farm with a shuttle bus to attend the inauguration. Minister of Energy Bart Tommelein opened the wind turbine park in Olen, in Lincent Minister François Bellot was the one cutting the rope. Afterwards all attendees were invited for an informative site tour. Both security and event management were key.

Aline Sinzo, Events Project Coordinator at ENGIE, looks back contended: “It all reconfirmed the trust we already had in Dazzle Events. They possess all technical know-how, a creative mindset and act as a true partner. They don’t just execute what we ask, but they co-create, come up with suggestions and improvements where needed, without ever losing sight of the deadline. In short, they offer the full package, without any stress, and always with a smile from ear to ear.”
